My Go-To Makeup Products for Flawless Skin

One of my favorite things about makeup is that I can enhance my own skin. Whenever I’m looking to add new makeup products to my collection, I always look for products that can be used for every day looks and enhanced for a night out or special event.

When I first started wearing face makeup, I wasn’t too sure that my primer was really even doing anything. That was until I found some primers that actually made a difference in the way my makeup looks and holds up throughout the day. I have 2 favorite primers: Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Primer and the Benefit POREfessional Pore Minimizing Primer. Both of these primers have helped my foundation to stay in place all day (even with a mask on!).

In my opinion, the product that can make the biggest difference in your makeup is the foundation. My skin varies throughout the year from combination to extremely dry. I’ve been using the Estée Lauder Double Wear foundation for over a year now and it has held up to all skin conditions. My favorite thing about it is that it gives great coverage and can be built up to being extremely full coverage. Applying your foundation with a damp beauty sponge will allow you to get the coverage the way that you want it, as well as applying everything evenly on your skin without the streaks from a brush.

The next 2 products that make a huge difference in your makeup application are concealer and powder. I pair my Double Wear foundation with the double wear concealer. It gives the same beautiful coverage and isn’t too drying or too oily. My skin tends to crease (no matter what product I’m using) so I always set with a translucent powder. My go-to is the Laura Mercier translucent loose setting powder. It doesn’t oxidize and has the prettiest matte finish. The newest addition to my line-up is the Jaclyn Cosmetics Mood Light Luminous Powder. I apply this over top of my face makeup and it gives me such a beautiful, glowy finish. It’s the perfect amount of natural glow.
