Hi! I’m Mackenzie DuVall. Thanks for visiting A Sprinkle of Pink Sparkle!

I started a Sprinkle of Pink Sparkle to share my love of fashion, beauty, and everything in between! I felt stuck behind my teaching career and wanted a place to express my creativity and other passions. My boyfriend, Steven has always pushed me to follow my dreams and this was no exception. Together, we started A Sprinkle of Pink Sparkle to capture every day life and give confidence to my curves!

I was born in Jacksonville, North Carolina. I moved to Phoenix when I was only a month old and have been here ever since. Ever since I was little, I’ve always dreamt of being a teacher. In May of 2019, that dream became a reality when I graduated from Arizona State University with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and was offered my first teaching position. To say my first year of teaching was tough would be an understatement. Amidst COVID-19, I was displaced twice and ended up spending my second year teaching completely online. It’s absolutely the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. I’ve found comfort in my other passions during this tough time.

I absolutely love fashion, beauty, and all the pretty things in life! I’ve followed incredible bloggers for years and have always wanted to join them and create my own. Sharing my life and things I love has given me a new sense of confidence in my own curves. I can’t wait to continue to share my passions with you all!
